MOMENT OF SILENCE: The Taylor Royce Story

Yesterday, I was on WSHH and I came across a video of Taylor Royce basically being taken advantage of in a drunken state I suppose. The video featured Ms. Taylor naked and a man who was a FRIEND of hers recording himself having sex with her while she was passed out. The video has since been deleted (even though I wasn't going to post it here), but there's a message to be learned in all of this even if you aren't involved.

In this day in age with cameras, smart phones, and social network applications it only takes a second for your life to get ruined. Thirty seconds to record it, a minute to upload it, and one second for half a million people to view it. It's crazy. I think what this man did to her was beyond disgusting, especially since she considered him a FRIEND. That just really goes to show that you can't trust anyone these days, not even while you're sleeping. That's exactly how a downfall happens, when people catch you sleeping and in Ms. Taylor's case, literally. Here's a screencap of her reaction from all this via her Twitter page:

I'm not even familiar with Ms. Taylor, nor have I saw her on VH1, this is the only time I've heard of her and my heart goes out to her. I've honestly never been in this situation, but like I said, it only takes a minute for it to happen to me or any other females. In situation like these, females have to be more smarter than the average bear. It doesn't matter who you're around, don't drink so much that you don't know what the fuck is going on. When men see an opportunity, they will take advantage of it. They don't think of how that person will feel or how it will make that person look, in that moment, they are 'the man.' This particular man is a fucking idiot and Karma is definitely a bitch. His dick wasn't even that big for him to be showing off anyway.

In conclusion, these days when you do something, you have to consider the consequences from EVERY ANGLE. No one is trustworthy these days, especially when you're in the media, they either want money or fame from it. A female shouldn't have gone through what Ms. Taylor went through and is going through especially without her consent. Be wise about your choices.
